The first is a modified version of the claymore. This modified version is called the Spikemore and uses spikes instead of an explosion with metal balls, like real claymores. They can be bought off the wall and work exactly the same as regular claymores.
The second new weapon is the JGb This weapon is a semi-automatic wonder weapon that shrinks all Zombies to a smaller form. While they are shrunken, they will do minor damage and die in one shot. If you walk into them, you will kick them like a football. The effect only lasts a few seconds, so make sure you kill them quickly. The water creates a water slide which can transport you from one area to another for free.
However, the room where the water slide exits out to must be opened and the power must be turned on. There is a free waterfall trap which can be used every 30 seconds or so. Down in the water near the waterfall is a group of rocks. On the side of the rocks is a brick wall with an out of place brick.
Hold the activate button to use the Reservoir trap. This trap will push water out of the waterfall and take any enemies with it.
Two Geysers are set in the caves. Stand on a Geyser for three seconds to push you up to the ground floor. A mine cart is also available for use, but you must pay Points and turn on the power to use it.
It is the tenth Zombies map released, and was first released as apart of the Annihilation map pack in Call of Duty: Black Ops. The map takes place in an unknown mountain range in the Himalayas.
The map introduces some new components to the Zombies mode, including speciality zombies and brand new traps and utilities such as the Mine Cart. A fractured portion of the map is featured in Revelations. The map appears in the introductory cutscene of Classified , albeit animated. After some assistance from the celebrities, the Ultimis crew gets to a time-traveling temple in the year , where a mining operation of element took place.
While facing limitless hordes of the undead , they must help two explorers named Brock and Gary , who are trapped in a time-loop, to help acquire the Focusing Stone for Richtofen. Ultimis Richtofen has been to Shangri-La before, as he was teleported there after touching the M. It is also known that Sally, an assistant of George Romero, is trapped with Brock and Gary in the same time-loop. Shangri-La, although not as large as Call of the Dead , is a moderately sized map with multiple areas and tight spots that are easy to get cornered in.
Players spawn in front of the temple, starting with the traditional M , with the M14 , Quick Revive , and the Olympia available for purchase. Players can open one of two debris, one leading towards the waterfall and the other one leading towards the tunnels and Mine Cart.
Both areas lead to the power room, where players have to activate two water levers to activate the water powered generators to get the power on. New features such as the Water Slide and the Mine Cart to help players get around the map quickly. There is also a Mud-Pit Maze near the Water Slide; when the player steps on one of the plates, walls will come down deciding where the player will go, making it a very risky path to take.
A new Wonder Weapon , the JGb makes its debut in this map. It has the ability to shrink zombies and allows the player to kill them just by running into them. The Monkey Bomb returns once again, replacing the other tactical grenades from the previous maps. Two new zombies are introduced, the Napalm Zombie and the Shrieker Zombie. Napalm Zombies are highly volatile and burn when the player comes in close contact with them, dealing extremely high damage.
When exploded, they leave behind a pile of napalm, killing any zombie or player that comes in contact with it. They are slow, however, to balance their dangerous nature, and the players in proximity to the Napalm Zombie will feel its heat and their vision will be slightly obscured.
Shrieker Zombies, on the other hand, are very fast. They sprint towards the player, and once close enough, let out a sound wave. This sound wave causes the player's vision to become distorted and foggy, returning to normal over time.

Yesterday, zombie-playing YouTubers gave the community its first look at the remastered Ascension map , but today, zombies fans were treated to a sneak peek of the new Shangri-La. Shangri-La is a shrine set in the exotic jungle of the Himalayas, filled with many traps, labyrinths, caves, and waterfalls. The map also introduced zombies players to a few new breeds of the living dead, as well as a Wonder Weapon unique to Shangri-La.
